Yaron Seidman DAOM is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, licensed acupuncturist and an Associate in Research at Harvard University. He received his doctorate from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA following a 2-year program and a 300-hour IVF clinic internship. He is married with three little children, and keeps his fertility practice in Greenwich and Weston, Connecticut, USA.
Tristin McLaren L.Ac. is an acupuncturist, herbalist and child birth educator. She maintains her practice just east of Seattle, WA.

This philosophy described in this book, along with Dr Seidman's herbs and acupuncture, helped me to get pregnant. I am 37 and the best fertility doctors in NYC told me to get an egg donor. My FSH was 26 and my AMH was <0.01 (yes, that was typed correctly). I turned down the idea of an egg donor because I had previously gotten pregnant successfully and something in me told me I could do it again. I was willing to try IUI and possibly IVF... I ordered the drugs and they were sitting in my refrigerator... but first I called Dr Seidman to get his opinion. He told me that if necessary of course try those methods to get pregnant, but first give his Hunyuan method a try (herbs and acupuncture). If we were unsuccessful with the Hunyuan method then at least my body would be healthier and more prepared to tolerate the onslaught of drugs and hormones. This made sense to me. And as he explained, once your body has been weakened by the fertility drugs, and possibly damaged by them, you may have missed the chance to get pregnant without them. I was pregnant using the Hunyuan method alone (no additional fertility drugs) in under 2 months. I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy, and just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.
