If your a fan of historical romance books that take place in the late 1800's (give or take) that is a western type book then this is a must read! They are getting harder to find so I was thrilled when I saw this book. But not only that but a series of three with more being written by the author.I fell in love with the characters in the first two books and couldn't wait to begin book three and continue reading about the people that I got attached to in the two books. It well well written IMHO. Granted I don't pick books apart and I read for my enjoyment. This is the kind of book that I find hard to put down!
Now that I've read the first three books I have the author added to my facebook page so I can find out when she completes the next book in the series to enjoy! I'm really looking forward to it!

I was in tears with how well Matthew handled the situation with Janey! Loved this book and hope to see many more in this series!
The book was written ok, meaning there was a flow to it, plot, back plot etc. it had VERY repetitive details. The subject of rape is tough enough but detail of the act is even more difficult to deal with and to have the heron live, relive, rethink, redescribe, and then all that over again and again makes it difficult to get into the romance side of the story. I believe I would of enjoyed it more if the focus would of been on how our hero helped her get through it. To me THAT is where the detail should of been. For the price of $.99 it was ok, but I certainly would never reread the story nor lend it to a friend.
I loved the whole series. This book was really special. Mathew was in love and had the patience to wait until Janey was ready. What a man!
I also enjoy B.J MCMinn writing. I would recommend this book to all my friends. Good reading and you get
hooked with B.J. McMinn books.
Janey is a strong and believable character. She is strong but scared. I love her character and how well the writer puts her heart and soul into her lead heroin. I love to read this writer. JE Horne
I had read the first 3 books in the series and was looking forward to concluding the saga with the 4th. So disappointed. The plot was too unrealistic for me to believe that it could have really happened. I did not finish and I never do that.ing
Book 3 of the Prescott Series was just as fine a book as the other 2 books. I was happy to see, when I finished this book that another book ... Book 4... awaits. I will read this book next while this wonderful family is fresh in my mind. Carole
